Chrysler could work with Nissan to produce its long-awaited, super-butch supermini the Dodge Hornet, CAR Online has learned. The concept car was first shown back in 2006 and is being readied for a launch in 2010. Chrysler had been negotiating with Chinese car maker Chery, but according to CAR's sources it could now be developed with Nissan.
Prime minister David Cameron has today opened Williams Racing’s new £8 million Advanced Engineering Centre in Grove, Oxford. The new facility will help transfer Williams’ four decades of title-winning F1 expertise into the world of road cars – and the PM has challenged the engineers working there to continue helping Britain compete on the world stage by developing new business opportunities. The pace of previews for the 2009 Frankfurt motor show gathers pace. Today it’s the turn of Volvo to show off its new, gently facelifted-for-2009 C30. The Swedes are trying to ‘sport up’ the C30, so there’s fresh front and rear styling, in line with the revised C70 and taking its inspiration from the S60 concept car.
